+drdick&vick
If anybody down Somerset way is interested in some ammo boxes this EBay auction might interest you. Would be tempted to try for them my self but the seller requires collection only. Ammo Boxes on EBay Quote Link to comment

Maybe so, but at the moment they are 99p for 29 boxes, if I lived locally I would put a bid in. Quote Link to comment

Hard to tell the 'true value' without pictures of the insides or the catch mechanism, but Ammo Boxes can be as manky looking as anything and yet still be in good waterproof condition. Especially if you are going to paint/cammo them... I wonder if the seller is aware of their desirability. Seems odd they are going as one big lot. 29 is a huge number for joe public who's not a cacher. Edited January 26, 2009 by careygang Quote Link to comment

+mongoose39uk
Look like they would clean up just fine. I suspect the price will be much higher by the time they sell. Quote Link to comment
+reddeeps
There is a reserve on them anyhow, which I think has to be a minimum of £50 on ebay. Quote Link to comment

+Sussex Leprechauns
We bought a batch of 22 on EBay about a year ago and in the end they went for about £75 - much competition from paintballers and AmDram. Collected them from a very securely locked, very large lock up - which was completely empty apart from a pallet of ammo boxes. Loaded up, asked no questions, left Quote Link to comment
