+Lodainn an Ear
hi jerilyn, i'm in the same boat as you having just started recently. attempted my first cache on the 27/12 but couldn't find it. Have now found 12 out of 15 and have to say it is getting a little easier. I now have half an idea what to look for once in the GZ and am not reliant on the GPS getting me right on top of it - which was my original expectation! One of the ones i DNF'd was a magnetic nano but i have since found two others and know what i'm looking for - they are TINY! Should be able to complete the DNF with a bit of luck. i'm kinda addicted. I was using an HTC Tytn II (Kaiser) but have now ordered a bluetooth GPS (Holux M1200) to use with my old Tytn (Hermes) just so my newer PDA doesn't get damaged whilst scratching about in the undergrowth. Cache On!!! Edited January 4, 2009 by Mascarra Snake Quote Link to comment
