+fairyhoney
IF it is activated - MOVE IT ALONG - Please. If it isn't activated, you may do what you want. Quote Link to comment
+Team Fehling
Geocoins are trackable and are meant to be moved along. The ones that you are seeing on ebay are probably coins that people are selling from their personal collections that have not been activated, or have been and are adoptable by that person. I buy a lot of my coins on ebay. Make sure that you log in the geocoin when you take it, and also log it in when you drop it in another cache. Heidi Quote Link to comment
+Droo
OMG whose training the noobs???? Geocoins are travelers and belong to other cachers as game pieces. They are meant to be be moved from cache to cache and their retrievals and drops logged on the coins' travel pages. Please please please click on the Trackable Items tab just above the Forums Tab and the go to How to log a Geocoin or even the Geocoin FAQ. It should be evidently clear what this part of the game is all about after that. Good luck and happy hunting. Quote Link to comment
Flying Spaghetti Monster
All good advice. Unless otherwise noted, if it has a tracking number it's safe to assume that a coin is activated and should be moved like a TB. If it's not activated and you take it, just make sure to trade fairly. Take note that when you try to log a coin that numbers and letters sometimes look the same: 5 & S, 2 & Z, etc. Quote Link to comment
