The Oldest?

How do I find the oldest cache...In my area? In my State? Currently still published?

 

Please don't just give me the answer, but tell me how I can find this info on my own, if there is a way.

On the upper right side of your account page is a link for Search Options for

 

"list newest caches in NAMEofSTATE"

 

Clicking on that link will bring you to the list of caches in your state, with the newest on the first page, and the oldest on the last. Theres a >> link that will take you to the last (oldest ) page of that list.

 

By the way, you can put other state or country number codes in that URL to see that same list for other areas

Or, do this from the Hide and Seek a cache page if you don't have all the state and country codes committed to memory.

 

The search results won't return archived caches. You'd have to use one of the "first caches" bookmark lists to gather that information efficiently.
