Did I get a recycled Colorado?

I registered my unit a couple days ago and on myGarmin it tells me the first satellite acquired was back in April. Is this a refurbished unit?

My guess would be it was manufactured in April and they tested it to make sure it worked.

Mine says the same thing. I figured that that's when it was made.

I'm guessing he's referring to the tracklog. Assuming Garmin didn't reset the tracklog you could see if [drive]:\Garmin\GPX\Current\current.gpx contains a track with timestamp and location information.

 

I'd like to know where the first satellite acquired data comes from. I've never seen it in any of the diagnostics screens.

 

On myGarmin can you see it after you register or only during the registration process? Mine doesn't seem to have this.

It shows when I click the "Product Details" link for the Colorado.

 

As an aside, there's a link to "MotionBased" on the Details page as well. I thought that the Colorado and Motionbased weren't compatible?
