+GoJoey&GoPollyanna
I still have my old Garmin E-Trex that I purchased in 2002 when I started caching. My question is : That GPS has a Serial cable and my PC only has USB conncections. Is there a cable that can be purchased to fit the old yellow Garmin so that I can download waypoints. Any response will be appreciated. Quote Link to comment

+Miragee
There are inexpensive ones available on eBay. Some of these work better than others . . . Quote Link to comment
+gr8johnson
I have the same GPS and I just bought a cable and an adapter off Amazon.com for $27.00 shipped. If you want I can PM the info to you later when I get home from work. Send me a PM and I will get back to you. The adapter comes with a driver disk for set up, but it took about 10 -15 min to get it set up. It works great though. Quote Link to comment

+Wadcutter
Even Wally World use to carry them for about $10. I've got a Belkin adapter that works fine. A buddy got his from WW and his works OK too. Quote Link to comment
