+Ballsy
I am looking at a few units...I already have the Garmen NUVI 370 for the car so just want one for geocaching...Was looking at the Garmen GPS60, the GPSmap 60 or the GPS 60Cx. Are they all going to get the same kind of reception?? or lose signal in trees?? I tried the garmen legend and it was horrible for losing the signal so I wonder if these are better?? I really don't care if it is color or not and do any have any topo maps for Canada?? or do you just use the software loaded on them??? Any help would be great...I can get the Garmen GPS 60 for $150.00 and the GPSMAP 60 for $200.00..so wasnt sure what to do Quote Link to comment

I have not have had any issues with it. It is very accurate for me and I usually always find the caches. I read the 60Cx is a pretty good unit and very accurate. Of the 60-series handhelds, I think that only the 60cx and 60csx have the high sensitivity receiver. I have a 60cx and love it. Quote Link to comment
+ventura_kids
Since you are in Canada, NO gps receivers will work well. (yes, that's a joke) The new chipset in both the Garmin Etrex series units AND the Garmin 60X series receivers will work great. Quote Link to comment

Was leaning to the 60Cx or the 60CSX...other than the csx has a barometer and the compass..not a lot off difference...only about 35.00 difference in price too Quote Link to comment
+Red90
The is also the Colorado 300. Much nicer for caching. The Etrex Legend Hcx or Vista HCx perform basically teh same as the 60Cx/60Csx. The main difference is the screen size and button layout. Free Canada topo maps here: http://www.ibycus.com/ibycustopo/ Quote Link to comment
