I deleted that log from the erroneous cache, but now the TB is not in my inventory anymore. So as of now it still shows it in the wrong cache. I don't have the tracking number on the tag anymore. LordEd Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 1. Contact the owner and either ask for the TB tracking number, or tell them where it has been dropped so they can drop it with a note. 2. Post a note on the cache and ask somebody to get the TB and log it as there. 3. Go back to the cache and get the tracking number. Quote Link to comment

But seeing as you asked here I'll just answer it. E-mail the owner telling them which cache you picked it up from and where you dropped it off too. Include the GC code. They can then post a note on the page for the cache it should be in and virtual drop it as they don't need the code. It happens every now and then even with the most experienced geocachers.
