+Team Gingerbread
I see post about swag around and just wanted to point out that this time of year it is great to check out your local yard sales for great swag items. This morning we stopped at one and got 7 laser pointer pens in nice cases for 10 cents each and a case of magic shool bus books (20-30 books all the same brand new) for 50 cents for them all. Also new rubics cube promoting LG for a dime. So look around at the yard sales and you are bound to find some cool SWAG. happy caching to all. Quote Link to comment
+Campcreekers
Exellent idea, the only problem is this. I told my wife the ski-boat,recliner and civil war relics won't fit in the caches so I guess we will have to hang on to them! Quote Link to comment
+minxyy
congrats on your swag finds we found 5 pigs at 10p each 4 stampers for 50p 12 frogs for £1.50 (party favours) box of necklaces and beads for £2.00 2 cute bear keyrings for 50p each we love our garage sales and charity shops it's also very 'green' to use recycled items for swag rather than buying brand new! We also like to get pins from charity stalls too as it helps two causes! Have worried for a while about the ethics of buying brand new 'mucckieducks' styled toys/gifts for caching! have a brill ace caching weekend minxyy and princessannie Quote Link to comment
+RussellM
I get all my ammo cans at garage sales... Quote Link to comment
+The Pathman
Garage sales are great. We get containers and lots of swag at them. Our local rummage room at the senior center is also a good source and all of it is better than what you get at the dollar store Quote Link to comment
TinyMoon & The Pumpkin King
We grabbed 5 ammo boxes at a garage sale last summer for free . The guy gave 'em to us because nobody had wanted them and he was packing up for the day . Quote Link to comment
