Is there an easy way for when you do searches to find new caches

 

cuz i wanna do at least one FTF cache, but i can never seem to find any

 

if there is any easier way let me know, thanks

Go to your account Details and on the right side under your stats click LIST NEWEST IN your state. It will show all the newest listings for your state. There is probably another way to do it if your a premium member, which I'm not, so not sure.

If you are a premium member you can configure a pocket query search to run daily for new caches in your area. If your not one, its probably to much trouble to do searches manually every day to look for new caches. What is it like 30 bucks for a year to sign up?

You can also set up notifications as a premium member. I have mine set up so that if a "Published" log is posted for a cache within 10km of my house, then an email is sent to me, which in turn is fowarded by Gmail to my cell phone as a text message.

I do the same thing with my Blackberry. But I also have the trimble software and a GPS BB, so if a new one pops up at lunchtime, all I need is my BB and I'm G-2-G!

Since you're not a paying member, I won't tell you how to do it as a paying member. I think this is available to all. Under search options on your account page it says "Search for caches from your home coordinates (filter out finds). Click on filter out finds and look for a cache listed as new. Sometimes you get lucky and find one that no one has found yet.
