Gert Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 I have a nearby Wherigo cache on my nearest cache list, which I do not intend to search, so I've put it on the ignore list. The cache page says I'm ignoring it, and it is also listed on my ignore list, but it still shows up in cache searches. The ignore list works fine with all other caches/types. Anyone else having the same problem? thanks, Gert
+Kelsborrow Wayfinders Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 I've noticed this as well. I've got three close to me and can't see myself managing them in the near future. I'm glad someone else has noticed this problem and it's not just me.
Gert Posted March 29, 2008 Author Posted March 29, 2008 Up once more. Any reaction from a Groundspeak lackey? Hello? Anyone there?
+Kelsborrow Wayfinders Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Looks like it's just you and me Gert
+Cache Viking Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 If you are a premium member you go to the PQ page for your Pocket Query and instead of selecting all types of caches put a check box in the ones you do want. By not checking the Wherigo you should get a list without them. I had to go edit some of my older PQs to eliminate the Wherigos. Since we do not have any Wherigo's in my area that I know of I can only assume this works.
Gert Posted July 31, 2008 Author Posted July 31, 2008 Hello? Will this ever be fixed? Or does Groundspeak simply not care about their paying customers who unfortunately happen to not like that oh-so-great new cachetype?
+Michael Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 We are working on all the current issues. We do them on a priority basis. They will all get fixed it just takes longer for some than for others. We are not neglecting anyone and we do care. I am sorry for the inconvenience but I need your patience on this matter until we can address it. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. Thank you, Michael LaPaglia Community Relations Specialist Groundspeak, Inc. www.geocaching.com
