+Phil&Phil2008
Hi all, In your points of view, what are the best 1-2 star terrain caches in the area code 07840? Thanks! Phil Quote Link to comment
+Packanack
GCXJ8R--not a terribly difficult walk, and if you continue on up the hill you get a bonus. Try any of these on the list for a rewarding experience Terrain may be higher. There are a lot of caches in Wawayanda West Milford does not have too much in the way of 1 and 2 terrain. +briansnat
Allamuchy Climbers Cache was a favorite of mine and is rated 2.5 for terrain (though can be as high as 5 depending on how you approach it). I remember Don't Jump Jenny being a nice walk and it's a 2.5 High Ledge Mine is not one I've done, but its rated 2 stars for terrain and the words "A Cache by Treequest" under the name is all I need to know to recommend it. Alluvial Material is a NJ Hall of Fame cache that has been frustrating geocachers since 2001. It's rated 3 stars for terrain on the page, but is more realistically 2 or 2.5 stars. It's a pleasant, easy walk to the site. Finding it is another matter. Edited March 6, 2008 by briansnat Quote Link to comment

+linuxxpert
I love treequest's caches, however high ledge mine disappointed me... Cant get in the mine... its all flooded and has a fence around it and the cache is much too easy to find... still an interesting location, just not very challenging. Quote Link to comment
