I'm assuming its short for Geocaching University ID but Im not sure where to find that. I was under the impression this is what we use to sign the logs. Disclaimer: I've had a long day, be gentle. In the geocaching.com world when you are on your profile page look in the URL box at the top and you will see your GUID. example: http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=ba29da86-34a1-4e11-a403-9dad810cdd44 Quote Link to comment

I definitely am down for writing a bit on the journal online, it was the physical logbook that interested me. I saw the GUID referenced somewhere and I guess my brain just brought together 2 things that shouldn't have been. The technical answer above aside, since I don't know where you saw the reference is it possible someone was simply referring to your Groundspeak User ID? Perhaps they meant your user number? If so, you can simply hover the mouse over your user name next to one of your posts and then look at the bottom of the screen and it will show your user number.
