I like the idea of not having to buy $130 of software with every gps, but if there is a big difference in the map detail or usability I might do it anyway. Quote

I did not know that there was a MetroGuide 2008. In the UK v9 has been out since last Spring [2007]. Quote

NT series have that special file compression. Entire North America of NT series can be fitted into 1GB card. Where as MetroGuide can't. Than again 2GB mem cards are cheap. Quote
