+EraSeek
The lunar eclipse is now underway. The last one until 2010. You might want to show your kids. Quote Link to comment
+The Jester
Actually, it's mostly over. The full eclipse was from 7:01 to 7:51. The partial eclipse will last until about 9. The clouds finally moved off just after 7, so I've had a decent view. Pretty cool. Quote Link to comment
+FluteFace
I've been outside with the camera and tripod for the better part of an hour. It's very cool! I had forgotten, so when somebody said something I ran out without shoes. BRRR!! If any photos come out, I'll post a few. Quote Link to comment
+jcar
I was out earlier doing a cache, I had heard about it on the news and had forgotten, what I noticed first was all the stars, they jumped out more tonight. When I took my youngest out to look after I got home that was what she mentioned first, the stars. I kept pointing out the moon, but she wanted to know about the stars, and she kept pointing to the constellation Orion. Quote Link to comment
+EraSeek
I made the mistake of hearing the times on the radio and didn't realize they were using eastern standard time, thus the late posting. Quote Link to comment
+FluteFace
Well, here is a montage of photos I took this evening of the big event. The photos are in order taken, but the intervals are not constant. They are a bit blurred (I'm not a great technician with a camera.) but I think you get the idea. It was fun, but I finally had to come back in as my toes turned into popsicles! Quote Link to comment

+mudsneaker
I celebrated the eclipse by getting a FTF on a new Night cache in Olympia..Woot Woot! Lots of students from Evergreen college wandering around the woods howling at the moon while I was doing the cache run. Made it all that much more interesting. Quote Link to comment
square_peg
Well, here is a montage of photos I took this evening of the big event. Beautiful!!!! My other hobby is amateur astronomy. I was watching. I'm not skilled with photography but here's a couple images with my point-and-shoot digital held up to the eyepiece of one of my scopes. Quote Link to comment
