+TheSurfcaster
I was trying to help a friend log a geocoin & we can't seem to do it. The cache he retrieved the Tooth Fairy coin from is GCA11E "Steeps Over Greenbrook". We noticed there is no tracking number on the coin itself. From the geocaching page we click on Tooth Fairy & it brings us to the coin page. On the coin page it states use TB1WXXF to refrence this item. We then click on found it/ log it. We select retrieved it from Steeps Over Greenbrook, & in the travel bug tracking number put in "TB1WXXF", then put in a comment & click enter. We get an error saying Tracking number does not match. The question is there another number we should be using & how do we find it. Thanks for the help. Doug Quote Link to comment

In order to log the find/retrieve you need the tracking number - since the coin has its own page it must be trackable - have you looked on the out edge of the coin, sometimes tracking codes are etched there, and sometimes they are very tiny !
