+jjtalley
Is there any way to have music on my cache page? I'm hosting a Easter Event and I would love to have "peter cottantail" playing on the cache page. I have no idea if there is even a way to do this? And if so, is it in violation? HELP Link to comment
+DavidMac
NOOOOOOOOOO! Every time this is asked, you'll typically get a half dozen replies from people who strongly believe that putting music on a webpage is one of the most annoying things you can do on the web. A word of warning: I'm one of those people. Sorry, but the HTMLtidy software that the geocaching.com website uses doesn't allow you to embed music on a cache page. If you try to, it will just strip it out. You can post a link to an offsite music file, though, and allow people to click it to play on a separate page. Fluxuated
I agree with the others, I'm dead against music on a web page, I can't shut off, and I BACK out of it, no matter what the site. Link to comment

+MountainRacer
NOOOOOOOOOO! That was exactly my reaction. However cute and/or appropriate you think the music is, chances are that most of your visitors will think it is proportionally hideous and unnecessary. Link to comment

+StarBrand
If you must have music - make it a link that visitors can choose to click on. Autoplay music on web pages is awful!! Link to comment
