What do your coordinates look like?

When you hide a cache, tell me an example of what your coordinates look like on your GPS.

 

For example, mine looks like this:

 

N 34° 59' 56" W 79° 1' 25"

 

What does yours look like, is it in that format, and if so, do the seconds show more significant digits, ie instead of the above, does yours look like this:

 

N 34° 59' 56.3922" W 79° 1' 25.5824"

 

Or does yours show in the decimal format?

 

Just wondering what other GPS are like.

 

Mine is a dash-mount Magellan Maestro 3200.

Garmin Etrex Legend HCx -- we can change the settings so that we get co-ordinates shown in any one of 3 or 4 different ways.

 

Are you not able to change the way they are displayed with a Magellan?????

Wow, someone outside of class talking about sig figs.

 

Most of our GPS can use multiple formats. I'm guessing that different units give you different number of sig figs for the same format depending on a unit's accuracy. Although I figure they are probably only different (if at a all) by one digit.

Mine look like those displayed on the top of the geocaching.com cache description pages except that the W and N are on the opposite side.
