TheRussian163
This may be kind of a stupied question but is their any stores that sell TB's? Not having a credit card and having to wate for the TB's to come in would be very helpful. I would like to start my own TB but I would have to get a credit card from my parents and explane it to them. Thanks, TheRussian163 Quote Link to comment

+ZSandmann
I know of no physical stores that sale travel bug tags. Groundspeak and several licensed vendors sell them online. You can go to a store like Wal-Mart and get a Visa cash card, it works like a credit card but you just put money on it at a store. You could then use that to order online. Quote Link to comment

My suggestions would be somehow get a PayPal account (though this may be impossible for you without your parents getting involved). Another possibility would be to try to find another cacher who would sell you some tags for cash money (perhaps check your local Forum for cachers near your home). Good luck. Quote Link to comment
+WRITE SHOP ROBERT
There are Tbs available on Ebay, but I don't know what payment methods the sellers take. Quote Link to comment

You might have possible TBs in your toy chest and then all you'd need is to get a hold of the TB dog-tags, attach them , activate and then set them free into the world. Maybe there is an event in your area in the near future. You could possibly go and interact with others that geocache Quote Link to comment
+MountainRacer
Actually, it's a good question and a topic I've been wondering about for some time. Now that caching has developed a sizable following, might Groundspeak have any plans for actual retail stores? I'm visualizing a little boutique-sized store in a major metro mall, with maybe a dozen or so strategically scattered across the country. That would be pretty neat. Heck, I'd apply for a part-time job. Quote Link to comment
+ZSandmann
It has a large following yes, but I don't think there would be profitability in a store or even a kiosk. But who knows. I could see some outdoor stores carrying some items though. Quote Link to comment
benya
That would be really neat to have a store that sells stuff like travel bugs, geocoins, cache containers... Quote Link to comment
+Kealia
REI would be the logical choice. How nice would that be? Quote Link to comment

+Bad_CRC
My first 2 travel bugs were FTF prizes. You could try that. Another option would be to contact some other cachers at an event in your area. I'm sure many or most would have travel bugs, and if you explain your situation, they'd be happy to sell you some.
