Waypoints on garmin 60cx

I need to know how many waypoints I can store on the internal memory of my Garmin 60cx. Also I have a 2G micro SD card. What I want to be able to do is to load tons of Geocaches onto my GPSr so I can pick up and go. I use a mac and use mac caching, but it's pretty much the same as GSAK. I could really use some help on this one.

You can load 1000 waypoints on the 60csx. The SD card can be used for loading the caches as Custom POIs but you can't store waypoints on the card.

So even though it only shows 50 that would be the 50 closest to me but it can hold up to 1000 caches. How can I see that all the caches (past 50) are loaded into my GPS because I keep getting a waypoint full message.

If it says waypoint full - it means all 100 spots are full. Best advice is to offload those into some software and then delete all in the unit. Pare them down in the software before reloading to the unit.

 

I regularly delete them all and just load up what I need for my day of caching.

Don't have mine in front of me so if not excate this will be close. When you are at the screen listing the closest waypoints press the menu button then chose the "alphabetical" option. That will display all the waypoints in alpha order. works also in geocaching mode if I am not mistaken.

Sort by name.

Thanks alot everyone. I went and did some Allegheny Geo Trail caches today and had all 116 of them and it worked fine. Now to get some turn by turn directions going and I'll be set.
