+Delta68 Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Geochecker.com appears to be out of action. Bit of a blow really as a couple of our very good puzzles rely on it... Can anyone shed any light on the problem? Quote
+keehotee Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 I tried to add a link from a new cache page yesterday and couldn't get the checker page to load at all..... Quote

No audit log, but at least it works Thanks for the replies It's working for me Yes, I handle the site. Many apologies for the down-time, guys. It is NOT a regular thing, honest. Our web hosting company (Successful Hosting) was forced to migrate their entire data center to a new location over the last two weekends, and last weekend unfortunately took about 10 hours longer than promised. Last night, apparently they moved the name servers, so none of my various web pages were working. At least they did it Sunday overnight, when not many people head out caching. For what it's worth, the SH customers have been promised that the move is going to result in much improved reliability and bandwidth. And in five years of business with SH, these two weekends have been the first extended down times. So don't worry about typical reliability - it's been excellent and should continue to be excellent. +Learned Gerbil Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I can't get it to respond - I have entered coordinates and either the bot check graphic never appears, or if it does, I end up with a blank page when I hit the submit button. Quote
