+Nakedbamboo
This has probably been asked before, but there are so many topics out there dealing with maps that you can't search them all. What I want to know is there anyway to set home coordinates for when you click on Search with Google Maps from the Find/Hide Caches page? It always defaults to Seattle and I have to zoom way out, center it on Texas, then incrementally zoom into where I want. I have home coordinates set in my profile; why doesn't it use those? +StarBrand
At the top of that box you can just type in your address and it will recenter there. Click where it says create permalink. Save it as a bookmark. Now you can get back with 1 click. Edited August 28, 2007 by StarBrand Link to comment
+kelita13
It always defaults to Seattle What's wrong with that? You can also go to your accounts page and click on the "Map it" icon on the top right. This will start the map at the home coordinates you entered. Link to comment

I can not find any 'Map it' icon on my accounts page. And, there is nothing wrong with Seattle as such, I guess - it is just at the opposite side of the world. Link to comment
+StarBrand
It is a small icon in the right side of page - magnifying glass and world. Under Search Options. Never used until just now - NICE! Link to comment
