Can you change your geocaching.com username?

I think my brother wants to change his username on geocaching.com. I doubt it's something that's done, but I thought I would check for him. He is a premium member.

 

Does anyone know if this is possible or not?

I believe the answer is no. I am sure a search on the topic will give you a definitive answer multiple times.

I did search. I'm not sure if I picked the wrong keywords or what but there were too many irrelevant hits.

 

 

I know it's not something that I would want to deal with as an organization. However if they charged a small fee like Microsoft does for xbox Live, they could monetize on it and make some extra money for their time.

You can set up a new account with a new name. You will have to go and re-log all your finds. They stopped allowing name changes back in April 06.

I don't think it's worth all that to him (my brother). He's a premium member anyway. But the suggestion is defintely a good idea.

When using the search feature, use simple words. For instance type in change name, tell it just to search the topic title, and tell it to search the whole forum.
