For the 2008 Jeep contest, they should do a Jeep coin.

 

Might even be cheaper for them to mint 10,000 coins, than buy 10,000 little jeeps with tags.

 

And, if they sold a LE version, they could even make a little money on the deal

If they do make a jeep coin that they sell... Will that mean that no other coins can have jeep likeness on them due to licensing?

The point of jeeps is to take a picture and enter a contest. And to get a new icon.

 

In my opinion coins would just make them more collectible.

 

Offer them for sale. For example have U4Diabetes travelers available for purchase and donate the proceeds for charity. The word still gets out, research gets a cut, and the owner can complain about the bug going missing. Everybody wins.
