Others will agree with me, too. Please. Omit the sound. Much better that way. Edited April 19, 2007 by Always & Forever 5 Quote Link to comment
+Miragee
Ditto! Please don't add sound to your pages. Some of us are still on dialup . . . Quote Link to comment
+KA7CJH
If you want to add sound or a video clip, then please just ad a link to the page. Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
If you MUST have sound - please make it a link to file that users can choose to click on. Most annoying web page feature is some kind of automated sound. Quote Link to comment
nater2k2
Yea, ill write in the script not to turn on automaticly, for dial up users. I just need it to link to a file in Groundspeak.com, but not sure how to save a wav sound, like a picture is saved. <span id="BugDetail_BugGoal"> <EMBED SRC=http://img.Groundspeak.com/track/772_400.wav AUTOSTART=false> Edited April 19, 2007 by nater2k2 Quote Link to comment

You need to find your own space for making that file available to the internet. Then use a simple hyperlink to it. The problem is not dialup BTW - it is the mere existence of automatic sound. +Jollylolly
Please don't add sound to your pages. Some of us are still on dialup . . . Dialup's one thing. Who of us hasn't sneaked a peek onto 'geocaching.com' at the office, while our supervisor is in the next cubicle discussing budget cuts with the CEO? And all this with our speaker volume set at full because we've just been listening to the VP Marketing's latest PodCast on increasing productivity. I'm with 'No Sound' !!
