I remember a cacher logged one of my caches on June 4th 2006, but he had registered on June 14th 2001!! Is (nearly) 5 years a record?? I know The Blorenges took a few years to nab their first....just over 3 years me finks!! Quote Link to comment

I was up in Darlington with Postie (who introduced me to geocaching), and he took me round the cache 'Roaming in Richmond' and, with his guidance I found the cache. +fat boy slow Posted April 16, 2007 Share Posted April 16, 2007 I found my first within a day or 2 of signing up back in October 2002, GC7197 Grimwith Reservoir without a GPS but with a good OS map BUT I didn't do my second untill January 2006 when I finally got round to buying a GPS, GCKQ7F, At work and play.... So a gap of over 3 years between first & second find, I don't plan on such long gaps in the future Quote Link to comment
