4000 characters per log, though you can add as much as you like using multiple notes.

Did they change that recently? Last summer I had a log that was somewhere in the area of 1600 characters that I had to split.

 

Edit: Scratch that, I think it was 1600 WORDS, not characters, lol.

Its 4000 including spaces, full stops, carriage returns etc
