+beeandjay
We have recently gone to a couple of caches that are located in local forests in BC. ALL forests in BC have had extensive damage due to the storms this past winter. We wanted to suggest that the people that have placed caches in any forested area should make sure that the caches are still accessible, and that they are not completely buried by debris. We looked for a few that were in spots that were very hard hit.... so please check your caches! Quote Link to comment
Keystone
Springtime is a good time for cache maintenance *anywhere.* But since this is a specific request, I'm moving the thread from "Geocaching Topics" to the Canada forum. Quote Link to comment
+plumbrokeacres
Up here in Prince George we didn't get much in the way of storm damage but I've noticed a few caches that are in areas affected by the Pine beetle and a lot of the trees have been cut down in areas. Quote Link to comment
