Help with Loading Waypoints

(You can actually just copy the coordinates from the geocaching.com listing, and paste them directly into the Position box.)

To make things easier let me suggest you to save the geocaching.loc file to your computer and open it directly with mapsource, that way you don't have to enter coordinates manually, you have a bunch of waypoints you can transfer at once to your unit.

True. I have to remember not to give advice when I'm doing three other things at once.

bring in a .loc into Mapsource.

save the file as a .gdb (say NewGdb.gdb).

load .loc file number 2.

highlight the waypoint, right click.

select 'Copy'

open your .gdb file (NewGdb.gdb).

right click in the left pane and select 'Paste'

'Save'

repeat.

now all waypoints are in one file and can be batched down.
