+Warriorrider
I received another Explorist 600 in place of my old unit that I sent in for repair to Magellan. The problem is that I cannot upload regions because Direct Route will not accept another serial no. (I have other Magellans). Is there a file I can delete or modify in the Direct Route folder on my hard drive or will I have to uninstall and re-install Direct Route all over again? Thanks. +Cacheoholic
DirectRoute V2 and V3 can only be unlocked to one single GPS serial number. In your case it would be the first unit. The only thing you can do is contact Magellan and plead your case. Only they can do anything. I’m not sure if they can change it or if they would have to give you another code. Quote Link to comment
+Cacheoholic
As I read your post again I think you have DirectRoute V1 that will allow about 3 GPS serial numbers. I’m not sure where they hide that information. I’ve looked for it once but didn’t locate it. Quote Link to comment
+sledgehampster
If it is V1 or 2 just uninstall and reinstall DR. Makes it all better. Quote Link to comment
