+Cache Liberation Front
Hi all, Trying to log caches the past couple of days has been an exercise in patience, which seems weird for a Wednesday and Thursday. Something wrong with the servers, perhaps? I'll gladly donate my monthly fees to help feed the hamsters: MrW. Link to comment
+Cache Heads
Sorry. I needed the nearest 2500 caches to my in-laws before I leave tomorrow..... but I'm done now, so everything should be fine. Link to comment
Aushiker
G'day Have been having the same experience, which is better than the time out areas which where occuring before. I found it is random occurence and whilst frustrating not the end of the world so to speak. Maybe an indictator that things are being worked on or maybe just a result of the christmas slowdown - delays instead of timeouts? Hopefully the former. Regards Andrew Link to comment
+Cache Liberation Front
These delays are coming BEFORE Christmas. I can't bear to think how the servers are going to be AFTER Christmas. MrW. Link to comment
+GRANPA ALEX
Have had success logging my finds at www.wap.geocaching.com, no waiting, went quickly. Can not get on to do PQ updates at all today. You're right, after the holidays and, perhaps, new users coming on line . . . who knows to what the speed might diminish! It is a good thing that we are growing . . . it would be nice to get a bigger truck to haul the load, though. Edited December 22, 2006 by GRANPA ALEX Link to comment
+Cornerstone4
Wednesday is usually their update day if I am not mistaken. There seems to be a slowdown on Wednesdays as they update the system. Link to comment
