Jacksonville area caches

I'll be visiting Jacksonville next spring and am seeking any 'must do' caches.

 

Generally I'm looking for ones that are 2.5/2.5 or less and are either a) interesting in their own right or in an interesting location.

I liked A Jax Favorite for Jacksonville. I also recommend anything in St. Augustine.

Maybe I can promote my own cache here.

 

It seem that Jacksonville is the micro Mekka, people just love to spit out micros and don't really maintain them.

 

This one is pretty cool and doesn't take a lot of time.

 

There are a couple of nice traditionals in Westside Regional Park. Just look for this one and the nearby caches.

I was only in JAX for GW3 but we did a lot of caching and The Federation Must Pay is a must do!

There are several good ones on Little and Big Talbot Island, just North of Jacksonville. Look up GC219.

The Federation Must PAY! is definately the most must do of the must do caches. I'd also add Jetty Man

 

The best stretch of caches is along A1A north of Mayport. That's Little Talbot, Big Talbot and Amelia Island. Lots of short hikes and ammo cans.Give yourself a little treat and start in Mayport and Take the Ferry over.

 

If you want a long hike, you might try White Sands Landing. It doesn't get much activity and there's a GW3 coin in the cache.
