Ambulance sent off course by GPS

A London Ambulance crew was sent 200 miles to Manchester by a faulty satellite navigation system while transferring a patient to hospital.

The team were supposed to take the man from King George Hospital in Ilford to Mascalls Park Hospital in Brentwood.

But they did not realise their equipment was faulty until the reached the outskirts of Manchester.

I respect Ambulance crews, they do a magnificent job. But I hope I dont rely on this crew to take me to Hospital in an emergency, or any of my family. What a disgraceful episode. I assume they have enough brains to realise after the first 10 miles that they havent reached their destination. I am talking about the driver not the chaps in the back of the Ambulance. Can the driver not read road signs ? Amazing stupidity !

He will be sacked of course...wont he ? Hmmmmmmmm

:D I haven't got lost but if I get questioned buy an angry farmer or land owner I've BEEN!

A council bench seat inspector.

A telegraph pole inspector.

A yeb line inspector.

A Tom Tom MAPPER "OFFICAL"

A lost person "Oooop's sorry"

NEVER lost NO never,

One thing I have learned whilst caching is "FOLLOW THE PATH" not the GPS that's lost
