turner774
I downloaded the software, saved it to hard drive then ran install. After install was complete, I clicked on desktop icon. The GSAK window opens but I get an hour glass and it says not responding. What do I do? I un-installed the file and re-installed it 3 times Turner774 Quote Link to comment
Semper Questio
First, go to The GSAK web site and go to the forums there. Then check out the FAQs, do a search, or post a question there. Clyde has set up a forum to better support the product and provide all kinds of valuable help. Quote Link to comment

Semper Questio
If you post something in the GSAK forums, Clyde will get back to you shortly. He is in Australia so the turn-around time may be longer than you'ld like. I do recall there being something about addng the GSAK program or folder to your anti-virus active scan exclusion list. I never had a problem so I didn't do that. You may want to look into it. Quote Link to comment

Jamie Z
I did that and found no answers there. What?! That's crazy. Clyde has probably the best product service on the planet. What were the responses to your question on the GSAK forum? I can't believe you didn't get help. Jamie Quote Link to comment
ClydeE
I can't find any posts by Turner774 in the GSAK forum so I can only intererptret this to mean that nothing was found but no question was asked. This specific issue is addressed in the "Getting Started" forum under helpful topics However, I will repeat the gist of this issue here: I have just about tracked all these type of problems down to virus scanners software running. The fix is to disable the gsak.exe and gsak.ini files from real time protection in your scanning software For more information and other work arounds please see this link http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=...ost&p=13898 Edited October 21, 2006 by ClydeE Quote Link to comment
