+The Biffas Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I normally receive an email confirming that one of our caches has been found. One was found and logged yesterday, but no confirmation was received. Is this just a glitch, or have acknowledgments been discontinued? Quote
+Pengy&Tigger Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 It's either the Groundspeak hamster taking a break again or they used the WAP site to log it. If the WAP site is used, the owner gets no notifications for logs on caches or trackables. T Quote
+Simply Paul Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Or if you use AOL, they may have decided GC.com is a spamer again. My mail's been ok recently, but it may affect different people at different times. Quote
+rutson Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I think the hamster needs feeding. I logged <cough> one or two of Mongoose39uk's caches this afternoon and he received no notifications either. Quote

+mongoose39uk Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 working now and sent me 89 all at once Quote
alistair_uk Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Interestingly I logged a find yesterday (FTF, Wahoo!) and added it to my watch list. This morning I received all the notifications for the cache, including the reviewers post so I think a few tings are being run manually after the event to recover from a problem. Another thing I have noticed is that a find counts does not match the list of finds of a comparatively new catcher. I will not list them here as they do not appear to participate in the forums, but I will keep an eye. Quote
