German Translation

Recommended Posts

"Liegt in Seefeld in Tirol, ein lohnendes Ausflugsziel, Sommer wie Winter leicht zu erreichen, schöne Aussicht auf Seefeld."

Anyone translate the above for me please? (Not sure of the babelfish translation! :( )

Cheers,

Nick

nothing you really have to worry about, says something alike: "is in seefeld in tirol (so called area), a nice place to visit, easily accessible in summer as in winter, nice view on seefeld (must be the name of town)"

hope that helped!

cheers from switzerland!

"A worthwhile trip goal is of reaching summers such as winters easily beautiful prospect on sea-field in sea-field in Tirol"

I see what you mean! It says something like:

"Lies in Seefeld in the Tyrol, worth a visit, easy to reach in Summer or Winter, lovely view of Seefeld."

Blimey, looks like German homework night on here - 3 replies in 10 minutes.

My translator comes up with :-

"Lies in lake field (water meadow?) in Tyrol to reach easily a worthwhile destination, summer like winter, nice view of lake field."

I'm sure Tyrolean Maid will come up with a sensible translation next time she's on-line :(

Absolutely spot on

Seefeld is up the road from my home town of Innsbruck. A lovely, picturesque village.... great in summer and winter. :(

Another translation please - my travel bug TBZK3B got moved with the following comment "Der soll auch wo anders hin"

Thanks,

Brian.

Picturesque - exactly! We went there last winter. It was brilliant - one of the best places I've ever been. Plus you have Germany 1/2 hour to the North and Italy an hour to the South. It was dead cheap to get to and the people are really friendly and helpful, particularly if you land on your head whilst out skiing (as Ali found out!)

I was just checking out cache listings. We could get caches in three countries in less than 2 hours!

(Just forgot to take the bl**dy GPSr last time  )
