+BiT
Does anyone know how I can put a sound file on a cache page? I have a .wav file (less than 500 KB) as part of a puzzle cache that I want to put on a page. Thanks in advance for you help and sorry if this has been asked but I couldn't find it during my search, I DNFed it! BiT Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
Best advice I can give is to put a link to the sound file on another server. That way nobody is "forced" to quickly reach for the volume control on thier speakers. Quote Link to comment

+BiT
I think that is the way I want to do it, that way potential seekers will be able to replay the file without having to reload the cache page. Quote Link to comment

(your ISP probably has some for you) Click the box that says the description has HTML. Add the following: <a href="web location you stored file">Click to here sound</a> the location will be something like www.myfiles.com/sound.wav Quote Link to comment
+Kit Fox
First, you'll need somewhere to host the sound file online, second, you'll need to program the cache page description in HTML to do it. Here is a look at the HTML coding that I used for my newest puzzle cache.
