In the past I have linked one cache page with another cache page and use the following

 

<a href="http://www.geocaching.com/"></a><a href="http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=97907">

 

Now I am trying to do another one, but silly question

 

Where did I get the 5 figure ID code from ?

The code is not quite right. You need to do something like:

 

<a href="http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=97907">text to appear on cache page here </a>

 

To get the bit to put into the href element, just browse to the page you want to link to and cut and paste the details from the browser's address field.

If you hover over the "log your visit" option on the Navigation menu of a cache details page, the ID number you require is shown in the status bar at the bottom of the screen as the last characters of the URL. Not sure if there is an easier way to get it?
