+Donmoore
I was looking for a cache this morning and started think that i'd love to place a cache in a wide open space and for it not to get muggled. I know of some that if you know what they are they are quite open, but i would like to know is of some of the caches you've found or placed that are really obvious but have never been muggled. Thanks Quote Link to comment

Thanks I recently placed one which is in plain view, without any camoflage in a fairly busy area. It's only had 1 find so far, but I certainly don't imagine it getting muggled! Quote Link to comment

+Jango & Boba Fett
Our cache GCRFKB is placed in the middle of an area of heathland with no obvious hidding places. The heath had defeated two previous caches but, through using a distraction cache, so far this one has lasted 8 months - though it does fox cache finders who are probably looking for a pile of sticks or a bush rather than what they find at the spot. +Donmoore
Some excellent caches posted so far and a great idea at the teddy bear trees. Keep the replies coming! Quote Link to comment
+housefamily
Does THIS ONE count? Oss! I reckon - except that every time I've stopped by to find it, it's been muggled. Quote Link to comment

+Hi-Tek
Does THIS ONE count? Oss! I reckon - except that every time I've stopped by to find it, it's been muggled. When I found it (Oct 2004) it was in the gravel below the statue ... ... and this one Royal Victoria Bridge is in full view - excellent Edited July 23, 2006 by Hi-Tek Quote Link to comment

+Jango & Boba Fett
This one is in plain view, but hard to find! That reminds me, this one is sticks out like a sore thumb once you know what it is, and it is at one of the bussiest spots in the centre of Norwich; hence the cache name - easy to spot but hard to recover unnoticed! +ryme-intrinseca
I don't think I should include a link cuz it would be a spoiler, but we found a nanocache recently that was in plain view, 3 inches to the side of an eye-level plaque that hundreds of people stop to read. It's never been muggled to my knowledege! Personally, I prefer caches like these to the 'tupperware box' variety. We don't often trade items now (the novelty's worn off) so nanocaches are fine by me. I have also seen two caches made out of hollowed-out nuts and bolts, placed in plain view. There's a huge thread on the main discussion forum about unusual camouflaged containers - anyone got a link?
