+Bronco2
Well, my girlfriend works for the Pulaski County Assessor's Office (Little Rock, Arkansas), and her boss gave us some pencils and cups for a cache. Is that considered soliciting? We are not asking anyone to vote for her, or anything else, she just gave them to us for one when we told her about it, and mentioned we wanted to start one. We haven't gotten anything so far to actually start one, but we are really wanting to, though she is making me find out if it would be okay to put the cups and pencils in the cache. You can e-mail my girlfriend at the following address: redheadedsun@hotmail.com Thanks. Bronco2 Quote Link to comment

Bronco2 Soliciting, no. If the container was in front of a restraunt and had nothing but cupons for said res. that would be more along the lines of soliciting. I work for a casino and put pens in all my caches from the casino because there free. Quote Link to comment

+briansnat
I think that's fine. If you placed a cache named "Vote for Joe" and filled it with campaign related items, it would be a violation. As far as placing nearly anything in caches, that's fine. My wife's former company gave out great swag with their logo and I often used it in caches. The binoculars were especially nice.
