+gracepap
Been thinking about Battery Park and the surroundings. There are some beautiful parks there owned by Battery Park City. Do you think it's okay to place a cache in one of the parks? I know BPC is a corporation but it is a public trust corporation set up by the state..... I have one cache in mind...it would probably have to be a micro....but I wonder if it's okay to do so.... Of course, I realize the sensitivity of the immediate area. I wouldn't want people traipsing around Ground Zero for a cache, but the parks and other areas further south would be great. What do you think? Quote Link to comment
+Mile Runner
it has been suggested that more caches be placed down there, i havent dont any scouting, but i assume if you are careful and dont place them anywhere stupid it is probably ok. Quote Link to comment

+SUp3rFM & Cruella
We were there in January, at our friend's house on West Street and Cedars, very near Battery Park. It's a great place, and we think it would be a very nice location for one or more caches. The Hudson River Park View was the one closest, but when we got there, it was gone. Good luck!
