Anyone Placed A Cache In Woodland Trust Ground?

Before I contact them has anyone already made a contact to share or an existing cache on their ground?

I have made contact with their HQ. They are undertaking a full review of geocaching and their attitude to it on their property. It is likely to be positive (in the end)- it started in the summer. I will chase them up and also send you on the details of the guy I was dealing with. I have the details at work so it will be tomorrow.

You could try emailing the owner of Life's a Beech, and if you get any information, let us know as there are some good Woodland Trust woods around just perfect for placing caches.

I contacted them about 12 months ago to try and obtain permission for a cache. They were aware of geocaching even then. But were leaving decisions up to the local rangers to make on a request by request basis. Good luck!

We got permission to place a cache up in the North east of Scotland. However a contract was then sent to me with the charge of a pound? Due to family circumstances at the time I never followed it through. I did put a post on this site to see if there had been other dealings with them and the response was very light.

Yes I have three caches in Woodlands trust areas.

 

One of which is this cache

 

The ranger was very keen on caching and thought it was a great idea, get in touch with the main office and they will put you in touch with the local Parks officer.
