Natureboy44
Has anybody else been waiting an unusually long time to have a cache approved in NJ? I've been waiting for 5 days to get approval on 3 caches and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same? Quote Link to comment
LocaRoja
NB44, Not sure the average, but mine have usually taken about 4 days. I just got an email that you have a newly approved one out right now! Maybe they are working on them tonight. Looking forward to trying some of your new ones. LR Quote Link to comment

Natureboy44
Yep, they all got approved tonight. Guess I just should have been a little more patient. Quote Link to comment
fishingdude720
mine took I think 9 days to get approved. This cache has not done good at all. First it took a while to get Approved. It got approved on December 27 and nobody has found it yet! Well the terrain is like a 4 because it is in Island Beach State Park on the Southernmost tip off the barrier island and can only be reached at low tide and with a 4x4 unless you have a boat of course. Check it out here:Island Beach Stash. Quote Link to comment
Jan and the Man
Hey, just wanted to say that we just put out a series of 8 caches in Readington. It took several days to get them approved, but we'd asked that they all be "released" at the same time. (they've only approved 7 of the 8) Usually it only takes a day or two. We've even had them approved before we were "really" ready. Unfortunately we're still waiting for the 8th of our Readington series to be approved. Seems we got too close to the railroad track in Whitehouse. Found out you have to be 150 ft. away from an active track. Funny thing is that our original WP (which was only about 50 ft. from the track) was at the entrance to the White House Public Library. Hope all the folks going to the library are very careful about the trains. We were a little put out that the approver didn't let us know about the problem for over a week after the others in the series were out. We didn't want to be pesty, but finally started asking what the deal was. They'd just forgotten to let us know. Hopefully we've fixed the problem and we're now waiting again for that one to be approved. Ah well, 7 of 8 is not bad. Jan Quote Link to comment
