Team Chevelle Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 (edited) Someone mentioned a couple good Amazon deals in the Software forum, but I figured people looking here might be more interested, so here's a quick summary that I did up with quick links: <link deleted by moderator> -- $79.99 and free shipping. <link deleted by moderator> -- $119.99 and also free shipping. <link deleted by moderator> -- have to put it in your cart to see price. Was $196.94 with free shipping when checked yesterday, but today it is sold out at Amazon and therefore comes from Etronics for $213.95 plus shipping. So, keep checking and wait for Amazon to get more in stock if you want this one. <link deleted by moderator> -- have to put it in your cart to see price. Was $229.99 with free shipping when I just checked it. <link deleted by moderator> -- have to put it in your cart to see price. Was $249.99 with free shipping when I just checked it. And for those that want to go all out... <link deleted by moderator> -- have to put it in your cart to see price. Was $359.11 with free shipping when I just checked it. Hope that helps some of you Christmas shoppers! - John... P.S. Note that if you want to go Magellan, I have a brand-new SporTrak Color for sale -- see my separate thread in this forum for details. Thanks! Edited December 23, 2005 by Hemlock
GEO.JOE Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 (edited) <link deleted by moderator> As of today Amazon is offering a $30 discount for signing up for and making your first purchase on their credit card. That would make the Etrex Yellow $50.00 and the Legend $90.00. Edited December 23, 2005 by Hemlock
Team Chevelle Posted December 13, 2005 Author Posted December 13, 2005 (edited) Most of the special pricing is gone for now -- sorry to those that missed it! I'll post again if I see them drop again! For those still looking to buy, these ones either having gone back up yet or just went up a tiny bit and are still good deals: <link deleted by moderator> -- have to put it in your cart to see price. Was still $229.99 with free shipping when I just checked it. <link deleted by moderator> -- have to put it in your cart to see price. Was stll $249.99 with free shipping when I just checked it. <link deleted by moderator> -- have to put it in your cart to see price. Is now $369.99 (only $10 more than it was) with free shipping when I just checked it. So, lower-end stuff is gone, but still decent shopping on those ones. - John... +Team Neos Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 (edited) Be careful if you plan on it being a present for the holidays though--- Some shipments are behind schedule and items promised to ship by the 12th and now being promised for the 23rd of Dec. Edited December 14, 2005 by Team Neos
Team Chevelle Posted December 14, 2005 Author Posted December 14, 2005 True -- but most of those say that they ship today and from Amazon -- which makes it much more likely to arrive on time. Heck, you can pay for next day and have it tomorrow Amazon still says... - John...
gemmie Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 the legend went up to $139 yesterday, but was back to $129 this evening. the etrex yellow had gone up to $95, but it's back to $85 again.
Team Neos Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 (edited) When I first ordered (on the 7th) they said they would ship out either the 8th or the 9th. (And yes, they offered next day shipment at that time). On the 8th, I got an email saying there would be a delay, but they would ship between the 19th and the 23rd. I got half of my order today (the 15th). Edited December 16, 2005 by Team Neos
Team Cotati Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Be careful if you plan on it being a present for the holidays though--- Some shipments are behind schedule and items promised to ship by the 12th and now being promised for the 23rd of Dec. Which merchants are behind their schedule?
buelligan Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 The garmin 60c at amazon is now $329.99 amazingly enough I purchased mine last night for $250 usually after I buy something the price goes down but I guess I got lucky this time.
Team Chevelle Posted December 19, 2005 Author Posted December 19, 2005 Indeed -- they keep bouncing around. If someone wants one of the higher-end units, I'd keep checking the links above until they drop down close to the listed prices again. - John...
Team Chevelle Posted December 20, 2005 Author Posted December 20, 2005 Use promo code "CUSTAPPRSAVE" on Amazon.com products (such as most of these GPSr units) for an extra 5% off the current price. Expires today. Just FYI. - John...
