+Naefearjustbeer
At the moment I have a lead to connect my dell axim X5 to an etrex. I also have a 60cs gps and wonder if I would be able to get a conector and butcher my existing lead so that I can use it with my 60cs. This will save me getting a new lead, I am quite handy with a soldering iron and can do the hands on bit just not sure if/where I could get bits from. Anyone done this? or know what goes where to try it. Cheers Donnie Quote Link to comment

NickPick
If they're both serial cables, it's quite easy to make a gender changer to connect them. You need 2 male Dsub9 connectors, and connect pin 2-3, 3-2 and 5-5. That's all there is to it (says Nick as he puts his one back together having checked the pin numbers) Quote Link to comment
