+Miragee
I don't get "paid" while I am Geocaching, but I've made money as a result of caching. I pick up cans and bottles while hiking to and back from caches and then take them to my local Recycling Center. I've collected more than $60.00 worth of cans and bottles -- and I've helped clean up the environment . . . This cache showed me how to fold plastic bags up really small so I can take several with me in my fanny pack. I placed a cache, "Recycle Cache," near one recycling center to guide people there in case they also had cans and bottles to redeem for cache . . . er . . . cash. Quote Link to comment
+jadeskyline
I'm at work right now, but I have to cache on my own time. I think a local cacher near me does cache on OUR TIME--- he works for the state DOT. Quote Link to comment
+ajayhawkfan
I am very lucky. I travel a lot for business and my meeting when I travel are at night. That give me a lot of time to cache during the day. Quote Link to comment
+Slammer180
Not only do I get paid I have a company truck. I'm required to travel to inspect towboats on the Ohio River. If there's a boat that I need to inspect in an area with caches I haven't found I'll leave a little early or come home a little late. Quote Link to comment
