orpon
I have a Ifinder Go gps unit. Is it ok for geocaching? Is there anyone who has tried it Link to comment
+IVxIV
Yup the iFinder GO is a great starter GPS for Geocaching. And welcome to the hobby/sport Link to comment
+Sputnik 57
First, welcome to the recreational activity/sport/hobby/addiction. Second, just a tip that it is generally considered bad form to post the same question in two forums. Although the ones you chose are both equally logical, I think the Units and Software forum is your better bet. Link to comment

PACDADDY
I use a i finder go for geo caching the only thing it doesn't do is download waypoints from your computer but its not hard to enter 5-10 at a time by hand best buy for about $68 and great in the woods Link to comment
+briansnat
It will work for geocaching, as will any GPS. If you get even semi into the sport however you will find it to lack some critical features. Link to comment
+One Soaring Spirit
I just bought a ifinder go2, it does seem quite complicated, but I think I'm use to the Magellan Gold, or my husband's aviation GPS Magellan 300 (cheepie) , or his super duper I can't take it with me Garman 295 Color Map. I downloaded the Advanced Users Guide (92 pages), still learning. Lowrance will answer all your emails, and if you have any questions or concerns. Link to comment
lost02
I'm with PCDADDY - I guess I'm not even semi serious into the sport yet but it works great out in the field and is really easy on batteries (I thought the battery meter was broken with my first set because it stayed at "full" for so long). There's currently no known way to download locations to it by computer, but since I haven’t ever tried to do more than 5 caches in a day it really isn’t an issue entering them by hand.
