+Webfoot
Specifically, Catholic Churches, but there could be others in sub categories. When people travel, it's kind of nice to know where the latest place of worship is for them to attend. Should have the schedule of services on Sunday for the church, plus the waymark. Yea? Nay? +New England n00b
Why not? It might be a sub-cat under Places of Worshiip, where each religion/denomination can get put in. That'd be pretty cool, actually. I'm really liking the way this project seems to be going - lotsa great ideas. Link to comment

I didn't mean to highlight one particular religion, just used mine as an example. I think this would be a quality service of Waymarking. Glad to see you like it. Link to comment

+unimoggers
I vote no. It's too easy to stop for a phone book or ask someone. Or even before your trip go to catholic.org and you'll find a church. Too many other ways to locate these. Link to comment
+DrBacchus
Thumbs up on this one. In fact, I thought of this very thing this morning. Subcategories would be good, but could get out of hand very quickly, since there are *SO* many "brands" of churches. Whoever is doing the categorization would do well to take high-level categorization rather than specific sub-denominations. As to the remark on looking it up in the phone book ... doesn't that rule out 90% of the categories already here? Sure you could look at a phone book, but why would you want to?
