+Skyman
Well it's new to me Micro Bug Quote Link to comment
+TeamZebra
I've seen a picture of one (done by a local cacher) where the owner took a regular TB tag and bent it so it would fit inside a film canister. Not the local one, but very similar. THen there is this one that has been trimmed to fit into micros. Quote Link to comment
+Snoogans
This one comes to mind. I know I've had a few others. Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
That cacher bought the number from Groundspeak and made their own little tag. They are not an item that Groundspeak sells. Quote Link to comment

I emailed her. She did that on a shrinkydink. She said it took a few tries to get it right. Quote Link to comment
+kingsting
I made this one up to irritate the missus. The etched metal pendant measures about 3/4". It was made in one of those photo style machines you find on the boardwalk. The TB tag was rolled around a socket so the bug will drop right into a film can or M&Ms tube. My wife doesn't like micro caches. Quote Link to comment

But just what is a shrinkydink? Edited September 9, 2005 by Skyman Quote Link to comment
+Outback Caching
We have 5 micro bugs. I sawed off the bottom of the dog tag, so just the numbers remain, drilled a new hole, and attached a very small item. They are easier to loose, but fit into waterproof match holders, 35mm cans very nicely. Quote Link to comment

Shrinky dinks were sheets of paper thin, clear lexan plastic that you could draw on with magic markers. (Or you could sand it and use colored pencils) You would do your design and cut it out. You put it on a baking sheet and stuck it in the oven. The plastic would shrink and you would have a small thick pendant. Quote Link to comment
+Blue iis
I'm clueless on how to post a link, but I made one about a year ago. Shaved down a normal TB tag and dubbed it "Joseph the micro TB." Quote Link to comment
+1mech
I recently released a "micro" bug. It is another dog type tag glued to the back of the official tb tag. It is called "Friends Across the Pond", and it had its first grab today! 1Mech Quote Link to comment
