Sharing Tb And Coins

What is the concensus on sharing TB and coins? I found a GeoCoin recently, the next morning I received an email from another cacher that said thay had went for the coin. Is it normal for me to let them grab it from me, log it, then I gran it back?

Did you drop it again? (what is it the other person wants from you?)

I don't give out the 'secret' serial numbers...

But if someone wants a certain TB for a reason (like leaving soon for a trip) I'll try to release in a cache right away and let them know where.

Hopefully you have already got the Geocoin into another cache...but if not, that is what I do. I try not to hold onto Geocoins or Travel Bugs for too long. I even put a TB into a micro cache, luckily it fit... And like Welch says, if they want it you could agree on a cache with them so they could get it. Happy Geocaching!

I like the other idea, drop it in a cache and send them an email telling them which one.

I would agree with the others.....if they want it, drop it in another cache and email them with the cache info of where the coin is.

I agree with the rest, sharing numbers is lame, as is getting icons for grabbing bugs, jeeps, etc. at events, it only counts if you have to find / work for it imho
